SEPTEMBER 2002 |
24th September 2002
Went to town today to do some random food shopping. I went into Selectadisc for a browse and I saw the new Nightmares on Wax album (called Mind Elevation). It was a reflex reaction to buy it. It rocks my world. A quality mix on par with Carboot Soul with some funky tunes and fresh beats. Oh yeah.
Track of the day: Nightmares on Wax - Bleu my mind

I traded in my old horrible bike for a classy secondhand Marin Palisades Trail. Its sooo smooth, the brakes are great, its really light (aluminium frame) and the geometry is just perfect. It was quite expensive, but I love it. I spent the day riding around Nottingham for the hell of it.
Track of the day: Queen - I want to ride my bicycle

Got my results today. I made it into the third year. Wooooop Wooop Woop Woop Woop woop woop (/me does the Dr Zoidberg dance).
Track of the day: Kings of Convenience - Failure
5th September 2002
OBJ (Object Orientated Junk) and CON (Concepts of Concurrency) exams today. They were horrible. All I want to do now is hide under my pillow and wish the results never come out.
Track of the day: Incubus - Nowhere Fast
2nd September 2002
CMP (Compilers) and DOC (Documentation & Typesetting) exams today. They were both fairly reasonable exams which I don't think I did too bad in. But it would have been better if I had spent the whole summer revising them all the same. 2 down, 2 to go.
Track of the day: Deftones - My Own Summer
