That is pretty geeky :)
Track of the day: Gorillaz - DARE

Gah, suppose I'd better write something in this stupid thing before I forget it exists. There is a lot of backlog, I haven't written anything for exactly 3 months :) Been busy, mmkay. Anyway, I will end up putting a few entries in retrospectively, so there won't be a big gap for long. Quite a lot of stuff has been happening, so bear with me.
Teg passed on this forwarding thing about my music collection, and apparantly the world wants to know:
- Total volume (dB? m3?) of music files on computer
54GB of you want size, but a lot of that is FLAC. iTunes and my Empeg say 2902 tracks. You can kinda see what is in there on this page. - Last CD I bought
Keyboard Rebel - Northern Sherpa (link). Should be on its way. - Song playing right now
Badly Drawn Boy - Stone On The Water - Five tracks I listen to a lot
Well, I tend not to listen to the same stuff all the time, but today I've been feeling:- Moby - Temptation
- Madeleine Peyroux - Don't Wait Too Long
- Ozomatli - Lo Que Dice
- Mae - This Time Is The Last Time
- Beck - Everybodys Gotta Love Sometime
Track of the day: Enough about music already!
4th September 2005
Went to Trax today with Teg. There was so much stress on forums with people leaving at 5am and trying to get there as early as possible, and there I was sleeping past my alarm. We got to Silverstone in no time thanks to the supersonic car but still late, about 10am. But there was very little queueing, parking was easy and no stress. Skills :)
It was quite similar to last year. Was talking to some owners about their Smart Roadsters, which apparantly only come in stupid semi-auto and no manual. I was heartbroken, I do really like them but don't think I could handle that messy transmission. We headed for the 0-60 strip in time to see a variety of cars up. There was a Fabia! The lady said it was a 1.9 TDI, like mine, and complete with towbar! Sweet. When it was her turn, it didn't quite go according to plan and she ended up just smoothly driving off slowly into the distance. I couldn't bear to look at the time, but the Skoda jokes were coming in thick and fast. Highlight of the day had to be this Evo which managed to blast to 60 in 2.99 seconds! Four wheels just slipping perfectly on the launch and blam it was gone, it was incredible to watch. Escorts doing burnouts and turbocharged Minis were all up there too. Maybe next time I'll take my car :) Most of the rest of the show was all rice and bling, but there were a few jems which stood out. You'd never guess what someone did to a Nissan Micra. After walking around for ages we finally found Briskoda and had a quick ogle at some vRSs and the beautiful new Octavia II. By this time, we'd been walking for over 3 hours, and it was insanely hot. Time to get back to the car and hit the A/C. Nice day out. Track of the day: Prodigy - Firestarter
